Cat physical exam

A cat physical exam is an important way for veterinarians to check the overall health of a cat. When it comes to in-clinic physical exams, the veterinarian will conduct a thorough examination of your cat in person, giving them the opportunity to assess your cat's overall health and check for any signs of illness or injury. They will also have access to diagnostic tools such as x-rays, blood tests, and ultrasound which may be necessary to identify any underlying health issues. On the other hand, video physical exams are done remotely through video conferencing. While the veterinarian will not be able to physically examine the cat, they can still observe the cat's behavior and provide recommendations based on the owner's observations and previous medical history. However, it's worth noting that some services, such as diagnostic tests and physical exams, may require an in-person visit and video consultations are not suitable for emergency or critical cases where an immediate in-person examination is required. Additionally, cats are known for being independent and shy animals, video consultations may not be as effective as in-person exams for cats.
